Tokens

AUTOPV™ uses tokens to facilitate project development. This makes it easy to estimate the cost of a project design. This prepaid approach gives users control over the timing and amount spent on current and future projects.

Value of Tokens

We offer both Concept Tokens and Design Tokens. Concept Tokens offer access to the concept design functionality, while the Design Tokens offer access to the detailed design functionality of AUTOPV™.

One Token buys one full design iteration of a 1MWdc project, meaning 50 Concept Tokens are required to complete one concept design iteration for a 50MWdc project, and 50 Design Tokens are required for one detailed design iteration of a 50MWdc project. Additional iterations are priced the same; in other words, three iterations of a single 50MWdc project would require 150 Tokens.

Tokens are not linked to specific projects and can be used across multiple projects of varying sizes once purchased.

A single Concept Design iteration provides access to a concept-level Bill of Quantity, an Energy Yield report and an AutoCAD-compatible DXF file of the project layout, while a Detailed Design iteration provides access to the available set of construction-ready detailed design outputs, including a geo-referenced DXF drawing with all designed components, cable schedules, and a detailed Bill of Quantity, among other things.

Token consumption

Tokens are only consumed once the user selects to run a design. This means a user can generate multiple layouts by changing layout and/or equipment configurations without consuming any Tokens. Once the desired layout has been saved and the user selects to run their concept design, AUTOPV™ will calculate the required number of Tokens based on the layout's MWdc capacity. The Tokens will only be consumed if a user has a sufficient Token balance and once the user confirms the Token spend.
